EXPERIMENTS: Solitary Experiments make a return with their new single
'Immortal.' The title track is featured in two different versions and two
heavily dance floor compatible remixes (one of them a highly club-infused mix
from Icon Of
Coils Sebastian Komor) and again showcases the Berlin-based band
delivering instant hit material that effectively bridges the gap between the
Electro-scenes Pop- and Hard-Dance-factions with a perfect synthesis of
massive Club-sounds, emotional depth and catchiness. The b-side Static
also sees Solitary Experiments deliver the goods: a picture-perfect, catchy
club tune in the bands unmistakable trademark style. As a special extra,
the single also features the elaborate video clip for the title track.
'Immortal' will effectively whet your appetite for the new album 'In The Eye Of
The Beholder', due for release in the second half of 2009. The limited and hand
numbered single is available exclusively through the Out Of Line mail order and

Interpol
frontman Paul Banks is readying a new solo album, which will be released under
the name Julian Plenti. The new album is titled 'Skyscraper', and is due out in
the USA August 4, 2009. Banks has written under the Plenti penname for many
years, according to Billboard. Some of the songs on the album are brand new,
but others were written more than ten years ago. The album reportedly has a
"cocky, sexy" feel. Plenti is a name Banks used to perform under
before Interpoland was
credited with engineering a 2005 remix of the band's track 'NARC'. Meanwhile,
Interpol have been busy rehearsing new material for the follow-up to 2007's
'Our Love To Admire'.Tracklisting: 1. Only If You Run 2. Fun That We Have 3. Skyscraper 4. Games for Days 5. Madrid Song 6. No Chance of Survival 7. Unwind 8. Girl on the Sporting News 9. On the Esplanade 10. Fly as You Might 11. H Listen: julianplenti.com MAY 02, 2009 VNV
NATION: The new VNV Nation album 'Of Faith, Power and Glory' will be
released on June 19th in Europe and on June 23rd in North America. The album
cover was designed by Michal Karcz, who also created the artwork for the album
'Judgement'. It is undoubtedly one of his finest works. The image of a
momument, in the middle of a wasteland, is a metaphor for all our greatest
hopes and solemn intentions and the brutal extremes that we're capable of, our
schizophrenic nature as humans and the eternal struggle to move forward. In
sound, the album moves on from where Judgement left off, taking the
VNV
Nationsound a firm step forward. It is an album that is, at times, soulful
and anthemic while, at other times, it is raw and uncompromising. European and
North American Tours have also been announced. Check the link

Form return with a long-awaited new long-playing album that marks one of the
strongest works Die Form has ever created. Elaborately combining mesmerizing
and disturbing photo art, experimental sound scapes, classical influences,
heavenly voices and a rather healthy dose of relentless club sounds, Philippe
Fichot and Éliane P. weave a sonic web on 'Noir Magnétique' that
is nothing short of enthralling. It is seldom that music works in both a club
context and as a work of art. Die Form have achieved just that
while
'Noir Magnétique' is one of the groups most accessible and dance
floor compatible releases, ever, easily matching their most successful club
hits, it still sports an absolutely unique sound and artistic vision. The album
expertly continues the path Die Form took with last years smashing single
'Her(t)z Frequenz' (which is also featured on the album in a new mix) with
strong beats, enticing melodies, cold sounds and a constant tug-o-war between
harsh emotional coolness and pure, innocent beauty. 'Noir Magnétique'
will be released as a regular CD version and a lavish collectors set,
limited to 999 copies, and containing the album plus the special exclusive
7 single Kobol and a deluxe booklet with exclusive photo art
in an elaborate 7-sized box. Released on May 29, 2009.Tracklisting: 1. Voltaic Control System 2. Decadence 3. Deep Zone 4. Nocturnal Emotions 5. Tristesse 6. Waves of Dream 7. Autonomic 8. Inferno 9. Her(t)z Frequenz 10. Double Life 11. Vox Angelica Link: dieform.net AUDRA: Audra

album 'Fantasies' - propelled by its first commercial hit in the U.S., Help
I'm Alive - lands the top spot on Billboard's Heatseeker's Chart and
Soundscan's Top New Artists Chart, and a #105 debut on the Billboard Top 200
chart, marking the first time the band has ever earned a spot there. Impressive
feats considering the album was self-released on the band's own label: Metric
Music International (MMI, also known as Me, Myself & I). First single
Help I'm Alive, debuted at #1 on the FMQB Top 25 Singles Chart for US
Specialty Radio beating out the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and the Decemberists which also
impacted the same week. The track was a #1 single in Canada and was followed by
second single Gimme Sympathy rising to #6, giving the band two
simultaneous top 10 singles in Canada. 'Fantasies' was produced by Gavin Brown
and Jimmy Shaw and mixed by Grammy nominated, long time friend and collaborator
John O'Mahony (Coldplay, The Strokes). Tracklisting: 1. Help Im Alive 2. Sick Muse 3. Satellite Mind 4. Twilight Galaxy 5. Gold Guns Girls 6. Gimme Sympathy 7. Collect Call 8. Front Row 9. Blindness 10. Stadium Love Video Stream: Gimme Sympathy, Listen: myspace.com/metric THE NEON
JUDGEMENT: With 'Smack!', their first studio album since 'Dazsoo' (1998), The
Neon Judgement once again prove the relevancy of their presence on today's
music scene. Here's a band that is still angry - song titles like The Great
Consumer, Leash and Smack! live up to their promise - and, most of
all, still vintage Neon Judgement: recognisable yet firmly rooted in the new
century, brawly and without compromise yet swinging and hopeful. Belgian duo
The Neon Judgement, consisting of keyboardist/vocalist Dirk Da Davo and
guitarist/vocalist T.B. Frank, veered in the 80s and 90s between minimalistic
industrial drones and odd, new wave-ish synth pop and dance music, underlain by
cold, mechanical rhythms. Release date in Benelux: 28 April

about two weeks. We had the idea to re-record two tunes, just because they'd

things. A handful that are close to finished, but not quite done. But there's
no rush to put anything out at this point." The EP is available in the
