JUL 26, 2009 BLACK TAPE FOR A BLUE GIRL: '10 Neurotics' (their 10th studio
album) reimagines the passion of Black Tape For A Blue Girl (and founder /
songwriter, Sam Rosenthal) in a rock / dark cabaret setting. Sam challenged
himself to put the electronics and lushness aside; he wrote these songs on the
acoustic guitar, an instrument he had never played before. Featuring drum kit
and bass for the first time in 20 years (courtesy of new band-member Brian
Viglione of The Dresden
Dolls), these fourteen songs are revealing first person narratives. These
are stories so unnerving and personal that '10 Neurotics' features an all-new
line-up; the previous vocalists quit the group out of discomfort with the
content. The songs deal with a range of taboo topics: dominance/submission,
furries, police state fetishists, pro-anna, exhibitionists, humiliation,
self-destruction, cuckolding, and anonymous sex. New vocalists are Athan
Maroulis ex-Spahn Ranch, Laurie Reade ex-Attrition & Nicki Jaine. Guest
vocal appearance by Lucas Lanthier of Cinema Strange on Curious, Yet
Afraid and Elysabeth Grant (vocals on I Strike You Down). Guest
appearances from Michael Laird (percussion on Caught by a Stranger),
Lisa Feuer (flute on Tell Me You've Taken Another) & Gregor Kitzis
(violin on Rotten Zurich Cafe) The new album's street date is September
22, but the digital release will be available on August 25.Tracklisting: 1. Sailor Boy 2. Inch Worm 3. Tell Me Youve Taken Another 4. The Perfect Pervert 5. Marmalade Cat 6. Love Song 7. sensation La Roux are set to hit the shores of North America for a slew of
highly anticipated performances this summer. 21-year-old Elly Jackson and
producer co-hort Ben Langmaid, the talented South London duo who make up La
Roux, have made an impressive impact on the UKs music scene since joining
forces two years ago. While collaboration began in Londons burgeoning
underground warehouse scene, it is has since landed on daytime radio and the
upper echelons of the British charts. Influenced by synthpop icons of the 80s
like Yazoo,
The Human
League, Eurythmics, and Heaven 17, La Roux make retro electro-pop for the
masses. Single In For The Kill recently reached #2 and sustained its
position for seven consecutive weeks. It is also the biggest selling single by
an artist in the UK this year and has sold 500,000 copies and counting. The
self-titled debut full-length which was released in Europe on June 29, will be
released on September 29th on Cherrytree Records in the US, and an EP for the
new single Bulletproof is out on July 21st. The album version of

outlets.Tour dates: myspace.com/larouxuk, Video Stream: Bulletproof JUL 19, 2009 RAZORBLADEKISSES:
RazorBladeKisses release, on August 31st 2009, double A-side single 'Ballerina
/ The Butterfly' taken from the upcoming album 'Twinkle, Twinkle Little Scar'.
Formed at the height of the millennium in February 2000, goth/pop outfit
RazorBladeKisses is a unique band comprised of an unusual blend of varying
talents. Hailing from distant Persia, the two female vocalists Layla and Azadeh
create unique lyrical and dark melodies, which are ever contradicting, genre
defying and teasingly challenging to musical boundaries. In Persian mythology,
the butterfly is said to carry the souls of the dead. The Iranian speech used
on the track The Butterfly is taken from the poem "This Bird Is
Going to Die" by famous Iranian poet Forough Farrokhzad and expresses the
feeling of being trapped like a caged bird. RazorBladeKisses deliver what can
only be described as the secret recipe for a twisted dark
fairytale.Listen: myspace.com/razorbladekisses JUL 18, 2009 MUSE: Muse are
running a global treasure hunt at http://ununitedeurasia.muse.mu for fans to be
able to hear the full track United States Of Eurasia from their new
album 'The Resistance'. Six USB sticks have been given to agents around the
world. The fans need to mobilise to retrieve these USB sticks, enter a code
from them on the microsite to unlock puzzles that all fans can contribute to
solving online. Clues as to the whereabouts of the USBs and times for pick ups
are all being released at the site and the fans are discussing each stage in
great detail on the bands official forum. So far the Paris, Berlin and
Moscow and Dubai USBs have been retrieved, the puzzles unlocked and solved,
hence revealing 4 x 37 sec (almost 2.5 min) of the song. Still to come stages 5

COMMANDO: Feverously working on his next album, the electronic industrial
icon is poised to release his newest single to the delight of his anticipating
fans. Shortly after the announcement of their new 7- Ltd edition single
'Until We Die' (released July 31),
Suicide
Commando are ready to drop the next MCD 'Die Motherfucker Die'. The new
single is as aggressive as the title implies. Abrasive beats, acidic synths,
and corrosive melodies combine with Johan Van Roys harsh sneering vocals
to create a dangerous mix of anger, hatred, and rage. While the single will
appease some of his fans, most will get even more pissed off that they have to
wait a little while longer for the new album. Released on Metropolis Records
and available September 22nd, 2009.Tracklisting: 01. Die Motherfucker Die 02. Die Motherfucker Die (Die Twice Remix By Noisuf-x) 03. Come Down With Me 04. Die Motherfucker Die (Remixed By C-Lekktor) Link: Die Motherfucker Die DEPECHE MODE:

VOYANT: Seven years is a long time to wait between releasing albums.
However for Claire
Voyant, the wait was well worth it. Their newest release, 'Lustre', shows a
dramatic overall improvement in their musical compositions and a maturity in
their lyrics. Each track is beautifully written and accentuated by Victoria
Lloyds amazing vocals, but just because the music sounds beautiful, it
doesnt mean that every song is a happy one. 'Lustre' weaves a rich
emotional tapestry of the human spirit. Released on Metropolis Records and

Vague is a French musical collective led by musicians Marc Collin and Olivier
Libaux. Their name is a play on words, meaning new-wave in French. This refers
simultaneously to their "Frenchness" and "artiness" (the
'60s new wave of cult French cinema), the source of their songs (all covers of
punk rock, post-punk, and New Wave songs), and their use of '60s bossa
nova-style arrangements ("bossa nova" being Portuguese for new-wave).

COMMANDO: The pioneers of Harsh Electro,
Suicide
Commando, are playin it rough on their new 7-single, strictly
limited to 500 copies on red vinyl only. Their debut release for Out Of Line
music is a real gem in coloured vinyl and the a-side Until We Die is
electronic dance floor terror in perfection! Johan Van Roys
ultra-aggressive shouts blend with a gigantic beat monster to a track that is a
hell of a ride: massive, menacing and armed with merciless hook lines,
Suicide
Commandowill smash anything in their path. On the sample-laden b-side
Severed Head, the legendary group continues with another onslaught in
form of the most club compatible autopsy ever produced. For all of those that
absolutely need to have the single in digital form, it will also be available
through all major download shops, from iTunes to Amazon. Release date: July 31,
2009. In September Suicide Commando will also release their new physical single
"Die Motherfucker Die".Tracklisting: A- Until We Die, B- Severed Head Order: Until We Die AGONOIZE:
While some German scene journalists are already predicting the creative death
of the Harsh Electro genre, top dogs Agonoize are reacting in the best way
possible: with a big grin on their faces and the massive, electronic
aggro-stomper "Bis das Blut gefriert" EP on their hands, they are
effectively showing all the moaners and groaners the finger and proving all
points of criticism utterly wrong by delivering a superb smasher of a track.
The b-side Seelenbrecher is also destined to breathe life onto any dance
floor with a solid electronic noise-fest. Strictly limited to 1000 copies.
Released on July 17 on Out Of Line.Tracklisting: 01. Bis das Blut gefriert 02. Bis das Blut gefriert (Agonoize Remix) 03. Seelenbrecher (V.1) 04. Seelenbrecher (V.2) 05. there is one band these days that manages to preserve the spirit of the Golden
Eighties, it must be the electronic girlie-duo
Marsheaux.
Fortunately, Sophie and Marianthi do not revert to blindly copying well-tried
success formulas from Pop-eras past, but rather use the same tools to cook up a
delicate and delicious Electro Pop stew of their own. On their third album
'Lumineux Noir', the two girls prove yet again that they have got a formidable
talent for writing irresistibly catchy melodies, this time around spiced up
with a healthy dose of modern club sensibility. The darker note that haunts a
few of the tracks, quite befitting of the album title, provides an interesting
counterpoint, as well. On their new album,
Marsheaux are
as versatile as never before: Minimal Disco anthems like the singles Summer,
Ghosts and Breakthrough go hand in hand with picture-prefect Pop
tunes and excursions into more beat-oriented territories. Preceding the
official German album release in late summer, 'Lumineux Noir' will be released
in July as a digital download album (i-Tunes, Amazon, Napster) and as a
strictly limited special edition double CD exclusively available from Out Of
Line. Available July 10th, 2009.Tracklisting: 1.Exit 2.Breakthrough 3.Summer 4.Stand By 5.Radial Emotion 6.Loss Of Heaven 7.Destroy Me 8.Faith 9.Ghost 10.It's Fine Now 11.Thousand LEDs 12.So Far 13.Sorrow Order: Lumineux Noir LEAVES' EYES:

orchestral and choir-filled compositions resonate with a fresh, powerful, and
energy laden force.

Following the release of the album '3', in 2006,
Deleyaman
have written and composed over 25 titles. 11 of these compositions, recorded,
mixed and mastered entirely in the band's studio in Normandy, France, are now
presented as 'Fourth, Part One' . The remaining material is set to appear as
'Fourth, Part Two', a complimentary yet contrasting sister-release which will
come later this year.Inspiration for the lyrics comes partially from the works
of American poets E.A. Robinson, A. Hecht, R.W. Emerson, E.A. Poe, H. Crane and
T. Stickney, but also from the Lebanese mystic poet Khalil Gibran. Most of the
titles are sung in English, except for two tracks sung in Armenian and the
track Jardin, sung in French, the words taken from the poem Nous
n'Irons plus au Bois, by T. de Banville. The use of several languages by
Beatrice Valantin and Aret Madilian, the two vocalists, has always been a
distinct characteristic of the band, whose members all come from different

the bands twenty fifth year, Clan of Xymox present their new album 'In
Love We Trust'. The stunning new opus adroitly combines the early melancholic
4AD sound of the band with the glimmering synthesizer sounds of the 90s and the
power of classic darkwave. Past and present are perfectly combined to showcase
the music that has kept
Clan of
Xymoxrelevant and popular after all this time. With this release,
Clan of
Xymoxdemonstratively returns to its roots while nevertheless remaining up
to date. After spending the past two and a half decades forging a path for

heels of their last release 'Beyond', Informatik return with an album of
blisteringly hot electronic rock, tellingly titled 'Arena'. Continuing to forge
their own path, the band pulls no punches, delivering instant classics that
find equal footing in stadiums or on the dance-floor. Opening with the
scorching new single Come Together, 'Arena' showcases a further
exploration of the band's "electronic arena rock" style and doesn't
let up until the closing minutes of the album, with the crushing despair of
The End. Club goers around the globe will harken back to the bands more
dance friendly sound with the epic synthpop track Falling. Release date:

Depeche Mode are pleased to announce they will restart their interrupted Tour

the cancellation of the Athens concert. While in hospital, further medical
tests revealed a low-grade malignant tumour in Dave's bladder, which has since
been successfully removed. At doctors' orders
Dave Gahan
must take a break until June 8th, to ensure that he makes a full recovery. The
Leipzig show on June 8th will be the first concert following Dave's recovery.

REGAN: As announced in an interview with Wayne Hussey (from
The Mission
UK) on BBC Radio 6 (UK), Wayne is currently recording an album with
Julianne Regan of
All About
Eve: "Julianne and I are recording together. It's a fairly loose remit
with the only criterions being that we record songs we both like and we,
Julianne and I, play all the instruments ourselves, no guests, and that it's
fun. We are sifting through a pile of suggestions for cover versions at the
moment but as well as covers we do intend to write, both on our own and
possibly together, a few new songs for this album along with maybe covering one
or two old AAE &
Mission
songs. Some songs will be duets and some will feature one of us more than the
other. There are no rules. And there is no deadline, we'll do it at our own
pace via the wonder of the internet to start with but I daresay that as the
project nears completion we will get together on the same continent to add the
finishing touches and to mix. We have absolutely no plans for playing live, no
plans yet for release, all we're gonna do is record a bunch of songs and see
where it takes us. Hopefully it'll be a fun ride".Link: myspace.com/themissionuk MAY 24, 2009 A-HA: 'Foot Of The

RECORDS: The independent electronic label Dependent will resume operations in
summer/fall 2009 and is forming a strategic partnership with the US independent
label Metropolis records. Dependent stopped releasing new material in late 2007
due to the devastating effects music piracy has had on both artists and record
labels and has not released any new material since.Dependent owner Stefan Herwig comments on the decision to reopen: "We have constantly been getting encouraging mails from fans asking us to reopen or continue operations as Dependent. We were also surprised, as we did not think that our absence from the European industrial scene would have created such a noticeable gap, but I think that it has. I was particularly shocked to discover some absolutely amazing new recordings and newcomer bands being unable to find label support and getting lost in the vast pool of mediocre bands on the internet. This reopening would not be possible without the partnership with Metropolis Records which will see both labels merging significant portions of the artist rosters. For example, Metropolis will give Dependent European rights to key artists like Front Line Assembly, strengthening our artist roster considerably. Joining forces will also enable both Dependent and Metropolis to make extremely attractive distribution offers for both the European and North American territories. It is certainly exciting to be back in the game." Dependent will also continue to sign and release its own bands as well as announcing joint signings together with Metropolis records. One of the first joint signings announced will be British synthpop icons MESH who are planning a new album for fall 2009. Link: dependent MAY 17, 2009 DEPECHE MODE: Two

Featuring interviews with all the band members, contributions from friends, colleagues and contemporaries such as; Gary Numan, Thomas Dolby, OMD's Andy McCluskey, Daniel Miller, band biographer Jonathan Miller, Depeche producers Gareth Jones, Dave Bascombe, Phil Legg and Steve Lyon, and electronic music experts Mark Pendergast and David Stubbs. Strictly limited to 999 copies, Clan Of Xymox' new single 'Emily' gives a
promising outlook for their subsequent full-time album. 'Emily' cleverly
combines the early 4AD melancholy sound of the band, with the flickering synth
sounds of the 80s and the dark power of the classic Gothic. Past and present
are combined and the music is to what
Clan Of Xymox has
always been identified with. Pulsating, sleek Dark Electro Goth, elegiac and
powerful, emotionally and beguiling.
Clan Of Xymox
presents themselves with this piece "Back to The Roots" and yet
