Dec 25, 2011 MOTOR feat.
MARTIN GORE:
Pioneering techno duo MOTOR is about to release their fourth album on CLR.
After completing three massively successful and critically acclaimed techno
albums, Bryan Black and Oly Grasset, who together form the act MOTOR, have
shifted gears and recorded a song-based vocal album by the name of Man
Made Machine. The first single, also titled Man Made Machine,
features none other than
Depeche
Mode´s Martin L. Gore
on vocal duties. Apart from the original and extended versions, the EP contains
three additional remixes by Black Asteroid, Radio Slave and Chris Liebing, as
well as the Man Made Machine video (see link below). Just recently,
when MOTOR secretly played the original version of the track on a BBC radio
broadcast, it got over 10.000 views within hours of being ripped and
broadcasted on youtube. The reactions from Depeche Mode and MOTOR fans are
absolutely ecstatic.Link: Man Made Machine (single), Man Made Machine (video) THE BEAUTY OF

have announced the release of their first new live album in almost 20 years.
The two-disc set will revisit the band's "legendary" appearance at
Bestival 2011, capturing hits such as A Forest, Disintegration and
Just Like Heaven, plus a 12-song encore, for a total of 32 songs.
Bestival Live 2011 was recorded at the Isle of Wight on 10 September, with
keyboardist Roger O'Donnell returning for a jam-packed three-hour set. While
the Cure
recently reissued 1990's Entreat, taped at Wembley Arena, the Bestival LP marks
the group's first official live record since 1993. It's also the first time
Robert Smith and company have ever released a recording of a complete single
concert. More exciting still for fans of
the Cure:
Bestival Live may be the first in a series. They have plans to issue a DVD from
their summer gigs at the Sydney Opera House, which featured O'Donnell, the
return of Lol Tolhurst, and an epic, four-hour set. "I suspect Live in
Paris 2008 may beat [that] out," Smith said in September. 'Bestival Live
2011' will be released on 6 December. Proceeds from the sales of the album will
benefit the Isle of Wight Youth Trust. Link: Bestival Live 2011 tracklisting Oct 27, 2011 MAGAZINE: Ending a 30-year
drought, reunited UK post-punks Magazine have unveiled a new studio album. The
band's fifth full-length, titled 'No Thyself', follows up 1981's 'Magic, Murder
and the Weather', and was released in the UK on October 24. The record reunites
band leader Howard Devoto, who started the group in 1977 after leaving the
Buzzcocks, with early collaborators John Doyle (drums) and Dave Formula
(keyboards, Visage), as well as
relative newbies John White on bass and Apollo 440's Noko (aka Norman Fisher
Jones) on guitar. Noko replaces longtime guitarist John McGeoch, who passed
away in 2004, while White takes over for Barry Adamson (Visage), who played
on some reunion dates the outfit played a few years back. While the album is
available overseas via Wire-Sound, the record is set to drop in North America
on November 21. The band will also be heading out on a brief UK trip to promote
the disc this November. Tracklisting: 1. "Do The Meaning" 2. "Other Thematic Material" 3. "The Worst Of Progress..." 4. "Hello Mister Curtis (with apologies)" 5. "Physics" 6. The highly anticipated follow up to THE BREAK UP's self released 2010 debut
will be released on Metropolis Records this Fall. 'Synthesis' will be combining
hand selected tracks from their out of print debut with brand new ones to bring

currents of electro ghosts of the 80s, The Break Ups sound can be
found in addictive synths, beats and melodies; songs about inevitable break
ups, regrets, dreams, floating ropewalks and machines. Shane Allen Hall
conceived the hard beats and captivating melodies of The Break Up. Blending
spirit and voice to song, Severina Sol completed the duo. Later they would add
on Sarah Stewart on keyboards and Rey Guajardo on drums, and like the birth of
stars in the night sky, coming together by their own talents and gravitational
attraction; The Break Up would create a great disturbance of movement and

Nation's new album 'Automatic' has been sent for remastering and will be ready
for release in Europe on September 16th (Digital and CD) and North America on
September 16th (Digital), and October 25th (Physical CD). This is what
mastermind Ronan Harris had to say about it: "The net result of the
stress and frustration and bashing heads against walls, is that Automatic is
something else. Of the journalists who heard it, one said "this makes all
your last few albums sound like jam sessions or practice runs". It is
probably not an album that some people are expecting and that, in our opinion,
is one of the best things we could hope to say about it. This album is melodic
to the nth degre, as much as it is powerfully emotional. It hits you in the
face at times and it calms you down and sings you to sleep at others."

6th.Tracklisting: 1. On-Air 2. Space & Time 3. Resolution 4. Control 5. Goodbye 20th Century 6. Streamline 7. Gratitude 8. Nova (Shine a light on me) 9. Photon 10. Radio Link: Facebook, Listen (snippets): Automatic Aug 17, 2011 GARY NUMAN: Gary
Numan's 'Dead Son Rising' grew out of a set of demos the singer had left from
previous projects, but as he explains: "The original ideas that sparked
off these songs are now barely visible. It's grown into another animal,
something more experimental. Produced and co-written by Ade Fenton (
Numan's
collaborator on 2006's Jagged), the material ranges from the heavily anthemic
The Fall (written about an old friendship gone bad) to the Arabic and
ghostly We Are The Lost and one of the standout moments, the brooding
Dead Sun Rising. The latter both contain elements from a sci-fi fantasy
story Numan
has been writing over the last few years. Meanwhile, troubled relationships are
explored on For The Rest Of My Life and Not The Love We Dream Of,
and there's also room for two instrumentals (Resurrection and Into
Battle), showcasing some of the soundtrack-type material that Numan and
Fenton have been working on recently. It all adds up to one of Numan's most
atmospheric albums one for those who loved his B-side experiments in the past
but also containing some very direct, streamlined electronic rock in the likes
of Big Noise Transmission, The Fall and When The Sky Bleeds, He Will
Come. Release date: September 12, 2011.Tracklisting: 1. Resurrection 2. Big Noise Transmission 3. Dead Sun Rising 4. When The Sky Bleeds He Will Come 5. For The Rest Of My Life 6. Cocteau Twins,
Fad Gadget, Nine Inch
Nails, HIM) and
incredibly enchanting vocalist Rebecca Coseboom (of Stripmall Architecture and
Halou) are DarkDriveClinic. While John spent the better part of three decades
helping sculpt the sound of classic albums that defined labels like 4AD and
Mute and launched whole genres of underground music, the seeds for the songs
found on 'Noise In My Head', DarkDriveClinic's debut album, were taking root.
From the opening echoes of Crawl, their mastery is clearly evident and
the stage is set. A delicate, sweeping collage of sounds melt seamlessly into
the swirling hypnotic guitars of The Offering. Ethereal, emotive,
heartbreaking and powerful, the stunning voice of Rebecca seethes and undulates
through the music. Released on Metropolis Records on October 25,

German electro outfit
SOLAR FAKE,
created by Sven Friedrich (singer/front man
Dreadful
Shadows, Zeraphine),
presents a really extraordinary piece of work with the new album, 'Frontiers'.
What was indicated on 'Broken Grid' (2008) and the digital only 'Resigned E.P.'
(2009) now finds a felicitous continuation in "Frontiers": driving
beats and danceable floor fillers melt with great melodies you can't get out of
your head once you hear them. Sven's voice is multifaceted like never before,
but still it is the one element connecting all 11 tracks to a whole complete
work. It ranges from 'typical'

influences, pleasantly surprising track by track. Released on July 25, 2011 on

Napalm Records. The new album will be available in North America on July 5th,

KAMELOT, MOONSPELL). A limited digipack version of the CD with one bonus song
will also be made available. Olof Göthlin contributes with his excellent
violin skills on the album."A Rose For The Apocalypse" deals with a
vast dilemma we're all facing as one species: the horrors and contradictions
we've created in our 'nature-divorced' system. The title refers to the collapse
of this structure, built by mindless human opinion. Follow the link below for a

announced that Xan Tyler from Technique, the original Uniform Girl and an
inspiration for Client, is taking
over lead vocals for live, replacing Sarah Blackwood who left the band earlier
this year. In 1999 Kate Holmes and Xan Tyler formed the female synthpop duo
Technique and released the single Sun is Shining, on Creation Records,
which reached number 64 in the UK Singles Chart in April of that year, followed
by You & Mewhich got to number 56 in August. You can stream the
videos of the songs below. This is what Kate had to say about Xan joining the
Client team:
"I am really happy about this as after Sarah left I was aware that I had
to find someone really amazing - as the new girl had a lot to live up to. I
think you will like Xan and she will bring her own personality to Client. It
won't be the same of course - it will be different but have the same
heart." Client are
currently planning a Brazilian tour and there is talk of a "best of
Client" release too and a single release for the tour.Link: Technique: Sun is Shining, You & Me Jun 22, 2011 PROJECT
