NOUVELLE VAGUE: Nouvelle Vague is a French musical
collective led by musicians Marc Collin and Olivier Libaux. Their name is a
play on words, meaning new-wave in French. This refers simultaneously to their
"Frenchness" and "artiness" (the '60s new wave of cult
French cinema), the source of their songs (all covers of punk rock, post-punk,
and New Wave songs), and their use of '60s bossa nova-style arrangements
("bossa nova" being Portuguese for new-wave). "3" is
Nouvelle Vague's third album, released on June 16, 2009. Once again, the album
consists entirely of cover versions but this time theyre performing duets
with the original singers.

ERASURE: In 1990,
three Erasure
12" vinyl promotional singles (intended for DJs in clubs) were released by
Mute. Limited in number, these releases subsequently became highly sought after
by Erasure
collectors due to the exclusivity of several of the mixes. Six of the club
mixes from the original vinyl have been remastered and feature on a special
'Erasure.Club' remix CD, due to be released on 10th August 2009. Lexer Music is
now taking pre-orders for this Erasure.Club Remix CD along with three
exclusively designed Erasure.Club commemorative T-shirts.

SUICIDE
COMMANDO: The pioneers of Harsh Electro,
Suicide
Commando, are playin it rough on their new 7-single, strictly
limited to 500 copies on red vinyl only. Their debut release for Out Of Line
music is a real gem in coloured vinyl and the a-side Until We Die is
electronic dance floor terror in perfection! Johan Van Roys
ultra-aggressive shouts blend with a gigantic beat monster to a track that is a
hell of a ride: massive, menacing and armed with merciless hook lines,
Suicide
Commandowill smash anything in their path. On the sample-laden b-side
Severed Head, the legendary group continues with another onslaught in
form of the most club compatible autopsy ever produced. For all of those that
absolutely need to have the single in digital form, it will also be available
through all major download shops, from iTunes to Amazon. Release date: July 31,
2009. In September Suicide Commando will also release their new physical single
"Die Motherfucker Die".

AGONOIZE: While some German scene
journalists are already predicting the creative death of the Harsh Electro
genre, top dogs Agonoize are reacting in the best way possible: with a big grin
on their faces and the massive, electronic aggro-stomper "Bis das Blut
gefriert" EP on their hands, they are effectively showing all the moaners
and groaners the finger and proving all points of criticism utterly wrong by
delivering a superb smasher of a track. The b-side Seelenbrecher is also
destined to breathe life onto any dance floor with a solid electronic
noise-fest. Strictly limited to 1000 copies. Released on July 17 on Out Of
Line.

MARSHEAUX: If there is one band
these days that manages to preserve the spirit of the Golden Eighties, it must
be the electronic girlie-duo Marsheaux. Fortunately, Sophie and Marianthi do
not revert to blindly copying well-tried success formulas from Pop-eras past,
but rather use the same tools to cook up a delicate and delicious Electro Pop
stew of their own. On their third album 'Lumineux Noir', the two girls prove
yet again that they have got a formidable talent for writing irresistibly
catchy melodies, this time around spiced up with a healthy dose of modern club
sensibility. The darker note that haunts a few of the tracks, quite befitting
of the album title, provides an interesting counterpoint, as well. On their new
album, Marsheaux are as versatile as never before: Minimal Disco anthems like
the singles Summer, Ghosts and Breakthrough go hand in hand with
picture-prefect Pop tunes and excursions into more beat-oriented territories.
Preceding the official German album release in late summer, 'Lumineux Noir'
will be released in July as a digital download album (i-Tunes, Amazon, Napster)
and as a strictly limited special edition double CD exclusively available from
Out Of Line. Available July 10th, 2009.

title track, the EP includes some new exclusive tracks. The opulently produced
orchestral and choir-filled compositions resonate with a fresh, powerful, and
energy laden force.

DELEYAMAN:
Following the release of the album '3', in 2006,
Deleyaman
have written and composed over 25 titles. 11 of these compositions, recorded,
mixed and mastered entirely in the band's studio in Normandy, France, are now
presented as 'Fourth, Part One' . The remaining material is set to appear as
'Fourth, Part Two', a complimentary yet contrasting sister-release which will
come later this year.Inspiration for the lyrics comes partially from the works
of American poets E.A. Robinson, A. Hecht, R.W. Emerson, E.A. Poe, H. Crane and
T. Stickney, but also from the Lebanese mystic poet Khalil Gibran. Most of the
titles are sung in English, except for two tracks sung in Armenian and the
track Jardin, sung in French, the words taken from the poem Nous
n'Irons plus au Bois, by T. de Banville. The use of several languages by
Beatrice Valantin and Aret Madilian, the two vocalists, has always been a
distinct characteristic of the band, whose members all come from different
backgrounds.

power of classic darkwave. Past and present are perfectly combined to showcase
the music that has kept
Clan of
Xymoxrelevant and popular after all this time. With this release,
Clan of Xymox

the dance-floor. Opening with the scorching new single Come Together,
'Arena' showcases a further exploration of the band's "electronic arena

DEPECHE MODE:
Depeche Mode are pleased to announce they will restart their interrupted Tour
Of The Universe in Leipzig, Germany on June 8th. On May 12th, lead singer

suffered a severe bout of gastroenteritis, leading to his hospitalization and
the cancellation of the Athens concert. While in hospital, further medical
tests revealed a low-grade malignant tumour in Dave's bladder, which has since
been successfully removed. At doctors' orders
Dave Gahan
must take a break until June 8th, to ensure that he makes a full recovery. The
Leipzig show on June 8th will be the first concert following Dave's recovery.
Dave Gahan sincerely thanks his fans for their support, understanding and
patience. Depeche

postponements may have caused. Follow the link below for details of cancelled

WAYNE HUSSEY & JULIANNE REGAN: As announced in
an interview with Wayne Hussey (from
The Mission
UK) on BBC Radio 6 (UK), Wayne is currently recording an album with
Julianne Regan of
All About
Eve: "Julianne and I are recording together. It's a fairly loose remit
with the only criterions being that we record songs we both like and we,
Julianne and I, play all the instruments ourselves, no guests, and that it's
fun. We are sifting through a pile of suggestions for cover versions at the
moment but as well as covers we do intend to write, both on our own and
possibly together, a few new songs for this album along with maybe covering one
or two old AAE &
Mission
songs. Some songs will be duets and some will feature one of us more than the
other. There are no rules. And there is no deadline, we'll do it at our own
pace via the wonder of the internet to start with but I daresay that as the
project nears completion we will get together on the same continent to add the
finishing touches and to mix. We have absolutely no plans for playing live, no
plans yet for release, all we're gonna do is record a bunch of songs and see
where it takes us. Hopefully it'll be a fun ride".
